We’d like to congratulate our partner and client CommVault. They’ve once again been designated a “Leader” in Gartner’s 2012 Magic Quadrant.  Gartner defines a Leader as “…an organization that executes well against their current vision and are well-positioned for tomorrow.”

We are not surprised at this designation at all. We work with them on a daily basis and we see it. CommVault understands how to get where they want to go, and they have put all the pieces in place to help them get there: great people. great ideas, great products, and strategy that works.

Our strategic partner CommVault got some great news this week. In Gartner’s 2011 Magic Quadrant, they were designated as a ‘Leader’.

So, what does that mean exactly? Leaders are defined by Gartner as “companies that execute well against their current vision and are well positioned for tomorrow”. Truth is, we’ve been a private label service partner for CommVault and, quite frankly, we’re not surprised.

CommVault’s backup and recovery products and services are some of the best in the industry. The Simpana 9 suite is quickly becoming a market leader in data management and data protection. And being named a “Leader” in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant is sure to drive even more demand for CommVault’s products and services. And this means CommVault Consultants will also be in more demand than ever.

No worries – we’re ready.

Being designated a Leader raises an interesting question: how do companies accomplish that? It’s one thing to have a vision and set goals- both long-term and short-term- but it’s quite another thing to execute well in accomplishing them. For one thing, it requires that everyone understand the goals of the organization. Secondly, everyone has to be clear on the steps required to reach those goals. Most importantly, you have to have the right people in place to accomplish the tasks at hand.

Congrats to all our friends and colleagues at CommVault. In the meantime, we’re hiring!  So, don’t forget to check out our CommVault jobs here.
